Photography is not about capturing what exists — it’s about revealing what most eyes pass over. Every frame I make is a quiet argument that the world deserves a second look.

Based in Bengaluru, I have spent two decades photographing wildlife, nature, and the people of India — from the flamingo mudflats of Navi Mumbai to the forests of the Western Ghats, from monsoon streets to intimate portraits. Before dedicating myself to photography full-time, I held senior leadership roles in advertising and marketing — most recently as AVP, heading the Digital division at MRM//McCann, Bengaluru. That two-decade career in communication and strategic thinking continues to inform everything I do behind the lens and in front of a classroom. I turned professional in 2013. My 2019 IPPAWARDS global win — shot on a four-year-old iPhone 6s — made headlines in the Times of India and the Deccan Herald. I have also spent three years documenting the mangroves and wetlands of Navi Mumbai through photography and film. My documentary Chalo Chanakya, exploring wetland conservation, was presented at the India Civic Summit in Bengaluru. The Living Lens is both a body of work and an invitation — to see the world more slowly, more deliberately, more honestly.
